Am open market is a large expanse of space always measuring close to 10 - 20 kilometers where different buyers of different products converge and buyers come to buy.
I know that in America, they have grocery stores that they go to shop for everyday items. In my country, the go to place to buy your everyday items is the open market. Does it exist in your countr

In Nigeria, open markets is the norm. It is very difficult for you to see an area that doesn't have it's own open market. And people prefer to go to the open markets to buy foodstuff even though it is available in street shops.

Yes, we do have a public market that is open for all the veggies and meat products that can be sold. Another one is the night market that can sell tangible things like clothes, shoes, etc.

Open markets are called fairs in my country, we have a weekly fair where we can buy grocery, shoes, clothes, fruits, vegetables and many other things at a very affordable price. Usually these fairs are cheaper than supermarkets and stores and we can always haggle the price and get some discounts. It always good to go there.

In my are there are open markets for vegetables. It is not to big and depend about size town. There are also open market for cars and those are bigger. Those will shutdown soon since people now mostly search for cars online.

Open market is not that common in my location. People love to shop in malls. These malls have supermarkets and all kind of shops as well as eateries. Some even have a cinema. People can spend a day in a big mall for shopping and entertainment.

We do have an open market where I live. I know they are getting ready to move at some point into a bigger area which will leave more room for more businesses to be able to rent a stall spot and start their business so we are interested in seeing how that goes when that happens.

At the moment on the open markets that we have, we tend to have a lot of butchers, fruit and vegetable stores and also clothes stores as well.

In my country, every community and locality including towns have their own open markets. Some even have selected days where people from other localities come to sell and buy in that particular open market.
