Do you have a post moderation policy for your newly registered users on your site? If that is the case, how many posts should the new user create before his posts will go into auto approval? I do not have any post moderation on m,y forms but in the past, I moderated 20 posts before the posts went into automatic approval.

I do not see any reason behind moderation of posts for new users as every participation is welcome except it is wise to set interval of 60 seconds between two participations to prevent spammer to rapidly post spam messaging which lead to ban.
Unless I have a reason to moderate the posts of a new member then I tend to not have posts for manual approval and let them go through as I would any member.
If we have an issue with a new member though, I may make their posts so they go up for moderation to keep an eye on them for a little.
