Do you know anyone who gets a majority of his income from referrals on forums like this one or other websites which pay members for referrals? If yes, what is the best way to promote the referral links?

I don't think there is anyone and since forums don't pay big for referrals I don't see anyone just earning from referrals

I have not noticed something like that so far. However, I believe that it is good to have a lot of referrals because you can earn some money through them.

I have seen people make a lot from referrals. Most earn from buying them for sites that don't require any activity confirmation. Some use their social media pages and proof of payment to gain referrals. A lot of people, ,me included, believe in proof of payment from a certain site and they join without hesitation.

Yes. This is mainly for people that have Whatsapp TV. I know a lot of them

I don't know how to get referrals, I lack in this. Yes getting referrals help earn money on the site but I don't think it is the way one can earn on the site without actually working in it.

There was a site in my arsenal that once hold a referral contest, shockingly within a few days there was about 4 members with 1k+ referral.

I've once tried it but I couldn't convince my audience they were too strong minded.
