I am not sure of other countries but in India not many people learn swimming.

I do know how to swim but many peaple don't and I don't really blame them i do not really had the oppotunity to learn how to I lived far away from beach

Yes, I am pretty good at swimming. I learned how to swim when I was about 10. And in college, we also had to take a course in swimming.

Since I am living in the mountain, it is unlikely that we can swim. Although I learned how but not as a pro. It happened that I learn the skills when visiting my grandma in the country. My cousins taught us how to do it.
