Do you need to know how to sow to own a clothing line?

I have a friend that has a virtual clothing line and even people from outside the country are ordering his wears. But I am not sure that guy can match a sowihg machine. I have never seen him on one before.

Can someone own a clothing line without being able to show?

You can own a clothing line , the only thing you need is to have fashion sense and ability to identify what looks good on others. You must not be a tailor before becoming a designer. Though it can help but it is not necessary.

I used to sow, a lot, I would take my old clothes and make cute ones out of them. These days I have no time.

So I would just have to employ good tailors and pay them to sow for me. My job would just be to scout and look for sowing jobs.

Nce you have a friend whom you knew was a novice in tailoring and yet was able to get customers internationally. You should have asked him how he was able to achieve that.

It is not compulsory for us to have knowledge in a skill before we start a business around that skill. We can employ those that have the skill and pay them.

I think that one is very possible. I have seen so many people doing the same business in my country having no sewing machine nor are they having the sewing skills.
