Do you remove from your friend list when your social media friend dies?

What do you do when your social media friend dies, do you remove from your friend list? Well, I remove those with whom I was not close and with whom I did not engage much, but if I was close and interacted frequently, I keep them on friend list.

I did remove them because I do not want to remember the past. It may sound silly, but that is me.
