We all know that after Elon Musk took over twitter he started to charge $8 for the blue tick or the verified symbol and there are concerns that even facebook and Instagram are also planning for the same.

This will mostly be on celebrities that are always been impersonated. So it might happen and celebrities will need to pay for it.

I even see normal people who are not celebs but they are popular because of the posts they share with users that they have a blue tick and they are feeling bad about it as they don't wanna pay the $8 and I am sure celebs will be fine with it

I believe that if yu you really want it, it doesn't cost much, no more than a cup of coffee. He is not asking all users to pay for the use of the platform, just those who want special treatment.

I actually don't want it and I don't see any reason to buy that because I like to have a normal account and that blue tick won't make anything extra special for me as I am not a celebrity and I don't even post for month on twitter

I also feel Facebook and Instagram will not charge this money and they will want people to join them so they can have even more users who left twitter because of elon musk and this payment issue and this will be interesting

That's why they are always competition so that if you don't take the right business decision then your competiors will take advantage of the loopholes created

Facebook and Instagram are owned by same company. And I don't think that it will come to that because if it will happen, it would have happened a long time ago

Well, it turns out that Facebook will charge money for tick mark verification. Maybe they will do better than Elon Musk and Twitter and only allow this for the legit accounts (not fake accounts like on Twitter)

It depends though, if this falls in line with their vision for the company and if they see how it works for twitter they might want to give it a try.

Blue stick one big fiasco for Elon. Around 20 people bought it and now give up from idea. Everybody notice before him how blue stick will not affect on that what is legit account and what is not. To bad Elon didn't recognize it.

Not all social networks will charge their users for verification just because Twitter has done so. It may be favorable for Twitter but it may not be favorable for other social networks.
