Probably, when the economy of a country is politicized and meritocracy is not appreciated then doom is waiting for such a country. And because the right persons have not been elected everything including the economy is politicized. That's not good for the country.
The truth is that government cannot give monetary aid to everyone that needs it. I seriously think this is the wrong approach to these kind of issues. Government should find a way to boost the economy. The scenario in my country is pretty bad, I am not sure if we are in recession already but the inflation is high, and a lot of people are facing serious problems paying their mortgages as the interests skyrocket lately. The government is giving some monetary help to the poor but that isn't enough to get people out of poverty. The recession is a coming scenario for sure.
A lot of people are jobless in my country today as well as a result of this and our government doesn't care one bit.It has been a long time that we are experiencing this situation during the pandemic until now. I am also a victim but was able to find a new job after.
It is even worst in places where it cannot be hidden. In Africa for example most of the countries always enters recession. So the European Union is trying as much as possible to manage it.European governments always seem to tackle the problem in the same way, offering monetary aid left and right offered by the European Union, so we are just stopping the problem and hiding it, at any time there will be no way to stop this.
Yes, I have no doubt that in Africa it is much worse, and that you are probably already in recession or you go through recessions too frequently, but in Europe everything is solved just the same by giving away money left and right, it is totally free, so nothing is solved neither. It is even worst in places where it cannot be hidden. So in both scenarios which do you think is better? Don't you think that giving away money is the best way to manage it until things becomes better?.Yes, I have no doubt that in Africa it is much worse, and that you are probably already in recession or you go through recessions too frequently, but in Europe everything is solved just the same by giving away money left and right, it is totally free, so nothing is solved neither.
No, I don't think so, it's like giving you fish but I don't teach you how to fish, it's making you dependent, in Africa if you don't get help you have nothing left but to go out and look for fish, to make a metaphor for it, yes, here they give it to you, that doesn't help at all, but true, your situation is worse, that's undeniable, but you know what I mean.So in both scenarios which do you think is better? Don't you think that giving away money is the best way to manage it until things becomes better?.
Well the country I am from Nigeria has been into recession ever since this current administration came into power and though the people have been able to adapt to it and are enjoying life back again which is one particular thing you can not take away from Nigerians for we are a happy people all the time no matter the situation we seem to be happy and adapt to it very fast and easy.Global economic uncertainty is a fact, it may be more noticeable in some parts of the world than in others, but I want to know how you see the outlook for your country this year or next year, do you think it will enter in a recession? I think that mine is about to enter one or is already in an economic slowdown
Yes, that is good, even if you are in recession you are happy, so nothing can knock you down, surely there is not so much money but you have other good things, such as the climate, the people and your culture, and that there is no poverty that takes it away, my country is a different situation, but in fact, sometimes I think we have nothing to envy because the political administration we have here is a disaster too.Well the country I am from Nigeria has been into recession ever since this current administration came into power and though the people have been able to adapt to it and are enjoying life back again which is one particular thing you can not take away from Nigerians for we are a happy people all the time no matter the situation we seem to be happy and adapt to it very fast and easy.
This is one of the reason why a lot of youths in the country are trying to find means on how they are going to use to leave the country because nothing is working here. You aptly captured this, Nigeria is I. deep shit now. Nothing seems to be working but I'm optimistic that we would get it right soon. Let vote wisely
