Do you use any free forum scripts?

I have four forums and all of these forums are built with free forum scripts. I am using WordPress, SMF, PhpBB, and MyBB. Do you use the free forum software to build forums?

Wow, you are so good, I am not on that. Besides that require fast internet. Our internet provider is somewhat problematic. This day I am just using a data plan, no 24/7 internet. Don't know when shall it be restored by the company.

I have used phpBB and SMF for my forums 10-15 years ago, however, I found it very difficult to control the spam so now I do not have forums for my websites.

I see a lot of forums use MyBB. I think there's nothing wrong with using them.

Wow, I don't own a forum and I don't even know the process needed to own one. I don't think am ready for that now though.

I think just like blogs, you will have restrictions if you use free software. Of you want to build something to make money with, won't it be better to use the paid version?

Though if the free version does the job, there's nothing wrong going for it.

There are many scripts, but I don't use any, it is better to use whichever is cool and attract members.

For Wordpress do you use Discussion Board or something else? Discussion Board is good since it can be combined with MYCred plugin so you can reward your users with points.
