The domain extensions like dot uk, dot us, dot ca, etc. are country domains as these domains represent certain countries, dot uk is for Britain, dot us for the United States, etc.) If you want to sell to the local market and if you want to rank for local searches, using a country domain can be highly beneficial. I have two country domains, and I use one for an online store.

I had invested a large amount in country domains initially. Yet due to high levels of corruption, well paid government employees do not want to purchase domains, pay the domain renewal fees, instead they criminally defame the real domain investor, fake domain ownership and get monthly government salaries at the expense of the real domain investor.

I don't quite understand what you are trying to say. How can someone fake your ownership when you have purchased the domains through a valid domain registrar? If someone is not buying domains from you, you don't have to play victim, right?

So, country domains in your country are also free? In our country, you can get a country domain for free if you have a registered business (you need to show your company registration paper). You can also get country domain for free for your real name by producing your government ID.
I am paying for the domains, control them, yet in the indian government records, due to corruption, manipulation the girlfriends of top government employees who do not pay for the domains, are listed as the domain investors and these domain fraudster girlfriends are getting monthly government salaries only for falsely claiming to own the domains, while I am criminally defamed by these high status fraud liar indian government employees.
The indian government refuses to correct the domain ownership records since 2010.
