A strong leader is one that does not dominate the team but instead encourages each member to play their part. What are the results of a brainstorming session in business anticipated to be? There's no such leader to dominate a subordinate. It's against the law. It will be called employee abuse.That kind no longer exists in the Philippines. They will be reported to Labor Union or to Senator Tulfo.

A good leader does not dominate his/her subordinates. S(he) should try to motivate his/her subordinates to do their best. Holding brainstorming sessions is an effective way to bring out innovative ideas and encourage participants to think out of the box.

I can't work in a place that I am being dominant by the manager. A good leader does not command followership but motivates people to follow him. Domination would make the workplace toxic.

I think domination of the subordinate staffs by the manager can't guarantee good leadership for the manager. A good leader must have the right skills to unite and motivate the workers to work harder for the betterment of the organisation.

A good leader always motivate to his subordinates because their ultimate goal remains that he has to extract out the best of their subordinates and it can only be done by motivating them.

A leader should be able to dominate, but this does not give him or her to abuse such power. A leader should also be approachable and understanding. But at the same time strict and discipline.

I understand that a leader has to stamp his authority but not domination. When a manager tries to dominate, the response would be resentment and rebellion from staff.

I also believe that this is something that is capable of killing the moral of your workers if you dominate and intimidate them so much every day at work.

I think the best business leaders are the ones that doesn't have the need to eliminate their sub bordinate staffs. Instead they motivate, unite and give each and every person the Woking space without discrimination.

That's why appointing people into managerial positions should not just be based on longevity and paper qualifications. Naturally born leaders don't dominate, they actually lead.

I don't see how it works I mean no one will want to work with bossy kind of fellow. I am a boss, I try to bring myself to my employees' level so as relate with him for effective result

It is wrong for a leader to dominate his subordinates, he might be kicked out from his job if his subordinates file a letter of complaint to the head of the Human Resources department. The leader must side with subordinates and support their good decisions.

In some countries, humiliating, insulting and belittling subordinates is considered to be a leadership quality by the management, and only those who belittle are getting promotions. The business culture varies in companies and countries.

I agree with you that a leader should not try to dominate his or her subordinates. Instead, they should allow all team members to showcase their knowledge, skills and abilities. Then guide them on what he or she is strong at.

It is not good to dominate the subordinates. There is karma and the leader who keeps on doing this will be dragged down and might be sanctioned with subordination abuse. There should be teamwork between the leader and the subordinates.

Business leaders need not to dominate their subordinates. They might be sued by the victims of abuse, thus giving a bad reputation to the business or company. There will be no support from them if the leaders continue doing this.
