Medium is a money making site but only few countries are allowed to participate. Medium only allow writers from first tier countries. I have applied and I was rejected . If you are not from first tier country, better forget about it.

I would not recommend Medium. You can choose other ways to make money like online paid forums and other sites like Upwork where you can possibly make money money.

Yes medium is difficult to break through especially if you're new. However one can use it to improve his writing skills and get followers or referrals.

Yes medium is paying it's members to write article there but as a paid writer, you will need to be approved to earn as a writer
