Most of the company have there rules and regulation of yearly salary hike but some of the organisation avoid salary hike to employee so people start leaving the job what you think does salary hike is necessary

There are need to increase salary as the economy is shrinking. The inflation is high and many workers are demanding for increase in salary. Yesterday, there is protest in Britain by teachers asking for increment in salary.

A lot of people don't get paid well even when they are working very hard. I believe that there should be a pattern to show how salaries should be increased once in a while.

Salary increment definitely helps to motivate and retain talents in the company. If a company cannot afford to give a pay raise to employees, management should explain the situation to employees honestly.

Salary increase is mandatory. Those probationary if converted to regular employee may have auto increase of their salaries and other benefits stipulated in labor laws. But if the employee has low rank he may not have an increase right away. He needs supporting documents.

Like you mentioned without realizing it, without salary hikes, employees end up leaving and heading to places where there is a salary hike. Mainly salary hike is there to motivate employees so that they work hard and they stay loyal.

Yes it is necessary but there needs to be done with care. If the salary is being increased every single year it might end up becoming too much for the business owner to pay.

I think salary increment in the company is a must. This is due to the fact that life is changing and things are changing too. So the salaries must keep changing with the changes in economy.

With the way inflation is affecting everything in the world to do I believe that salaries should also be increased in order for workers to be able to afford the things that they usually afford with everything becoming very expensive.

Things change every hear and they need to do it so that their workers can be able to meet up to their monthly needs.

The longer a person stays in a company, the higher the salary should be. This would keep a staff motivated and cause him to reject other companies that might be poaching him.

I worked in a school and started with a salary of NGN18,000 two years ago. That's about $50. Two years later, I was getting NGN22,000. That's about $7 increase in two years. I gladly left them.
