Does tie really can increase body temperature?

Spain prime minister Pedro Snachez told his people to stop wear tie. He say this is move in energy savings since tie can increase body temperature and you need more air conditioner. So everybody should take it off.

Without tie and with tie.

Is this reallistic? I don't think so.

Do you have AC in school? What about tie in wedding or some special event? It can be very attractive.

It's just a normal psychology thing. Tie sometimes might be incovenient to
you when you are wearing it but you won't have choice of removing it

It is not to inconvenient for me. I like wear ties but it is to formal for my daily activities. I have one or two ties.
