I have heard that big companies arrange vacations/holidays at their cost for their Top employees with their families so as to keep them motivated to work hard and this way others will be motivated to work hard and grab the opportunity.

It's already in a company, office or schools policies about when to apply for leave, type of leave and who could avail leave with or without pay.

They plan vacations for you at their cost and you don't need to pay anything for that

Yes, they did. Sometimes they did family gathering for all employes and their family at least once a year.

I don't think so, I have seen employees allowed to visit different hill stations with their family on company expense

At least in my country, they did that, i dont know about others country. Family gathering is located still in the same city or nearest city, so the cost is not too high. But for Top Level position, at least once a year they did vocation to another country, its depends on yearly target is achive or not.

It also happens in my country sort of reward for awarding as a model family for example and so on and so forth.

I do not work in a company but my father's company arranges vacation for workers

They don't arrange vacations for us in our country. Unless you are one of the top management staff of a multinational. Just pray they pay you first.

I think this happens to sale companies. It is their way of giving initiative with free plane tickets, too. They do arrange this to motivate their subordinates.

I know people who work with international companies so they arrange vacation for them. It is cool

I think it is a good idea to motivate your employees with some gifts like arranging a vacation for them, they will work better.

Setting up vacations is one of the last things my formal boss would ever do for his workers, we dont even need to go that far, he finds it hard to give his workers break.

We have 15 days vacation and 15 days sick leave with pay. But there's none an arranged vacation for employees. A employee can have a vacation at his own expense.

Only big companies allow this and pay for our vacation like they will plan our family holidays for 10-15 days at some place at their expense
