Does your company participate in any sports?

Many companies maintain a sports team like cricket or football or hockey and these participate against each other in different tournaments and this way they build their business and make it popular.

We have basketball and volleyball here. The company make sure that these sports are part of employees engagement. This is to promote friendship and bond among the employees.

The company i used to work with before was a small company, they did not really have that much capital to handle things like this. And we had no real interest in sports.

In my previous jobs, not all of my companies do this. Although they are more engaged in helping others, especially who are in needs. They do this as their social responsibility.

Nowadays I am in business but I remember when I used to work in private company, we were having our company's team and we were playing cricket matches after every three months.

In my company we are not sport types. We are more drink and eat. We often have some banquet or similar event like karaoke.

In the university where I work, there is a yearly Intramurals but in Deped, there are sports like District Meet, Unit Meet and national athletics competitions.

There are companies and organisations in India that have their cricket and football and hockey teams and they play regularly and even hire professional players to play and give them jobs

Corporate sports is very popular in my home country, however, I do not work in any company. Even when I worked in a company, I never participated in sports
