How can we reduce workplace discrimination in the future? Where should solutions come from (governments, corporations, consumers, etc.)? What specific things need to happen to end workplace discrimination?

I think the solution should come from the corporation itself. The government may not be able to do it all

In Hong Kong, there are anti-discrimination Ordinances which prohibit discrimination against a person on the grounds of sex, marital status, pregnancy, disability, family status and race in the workplace or other circumstances such as education opportunities. I think the top management of the company has the main responsibility to ensure that there is no such discrimination in their company. Employees should report to the management or HR department should they feel being discriminated.

The truth of the matter is that changes always have to begin with ourselves. If we really want to stop workplace discrimination, we need to change our mentality totally first before anyone else.
