Expectations of working the family business.

Some children are expected to work in their parents' business. Is it good to give children practical business experience at an early age? Why or why not?

Kids trained in early can easily understand the nature of their family's business. They can also assess at a young age if it's good to manage a business someday.

Its better to teach them at an early age cause their minds are more open compared to adults or young adults but at the same time, do not rub them of their childhood.

Yeah. I agree. I have seen way too many concerned parents that think that structure all the time is better than being able to be a child and have fun too.

True, this children might grow up successful but would lack emotions or how to properly express themselves to their loved ones in most cases.

This is very common with the wealthy people that their parents has a big company and they wouldn't want an outsider to run it. Their children most learn how to manage the business by force.

A lot of Chinese family businesses, big and small, in my location get their children involved in the business at an early stage. They usually work in the family business during summer vacation.
