Fate of sickle cell?

I've seen a lot of people battling sickle cell although some mange to live long but many died at a very tender age. Is it curable?

I'm afraid it isn't curable but symptoms can be managed well for better quality of life.

Sickle cell isn't curable. But you can love long if it is managed well. Its really unfair how some people get the fate written out right infront of thier eyes.

Its really scary, I felt for those kid.

If only government would take certain diseases as highly as it did for çovid , a lot of people w9uld be able to live happy stress free lives. Covid was treated with the highest regards, with vaccines being made quick, it should be the same for everything else.

Yeah, if covid can get a vaccine why can't this be cured??
The governments need to put more emphasises on it

Yeah I'm always afraid for them too. it is a traumatizing situation to be in
