The fear of starting a new business has been a major issues for those who might want to start up their own business and it has succeeded in limiting so many persons with great potential. For does who are experienced in starting up their personal business, how did you overcome this?

there is risk in business, At the time I started my own business, I did not think about problems at that time because I have sufficient capital, but I was wrong. It lasted only 2 years before I decided to sell it to my sister. That business was a small lending firm. The collector ran away bringing with him a huge collection. That was a nightmare for me.

Wow, sorry to hear that though, since then, have you thought of starting another business of your own ?
I started another, and that was an internet cafe, but I was so unlucky. Most households installed internet and every member in a household young and old also owns a cellular phone, so no more renters of the internet cafe, so to resolve this, I sold it to someone interested and this time in the new, it operates slowly. For almost 3 years no income from his internet.
Most people are afraid of starting a new business because you never know what happens. It is risky but if it is worth it, you must give it a try.

You have a point there though, the ability to continue is another issue. Its one thing to start up a business, it also takes consistency and hard work to continue especially when faced with difficulties.
I also have this fear and since we need to leave our job to participate in our business and focus I am feared that if it will be successful or not and this is why till now I am unable to succeed in starting a business of myself even though I can manage money for that
Yes you were right, there's this scary feeling to venture into a business that is something new to us. I conquer this kind of fear, by simply thinking what life I want if I step in into the business. For me that's enough motivation to get myself out of my comfort zone.
There will be fear and this fear is good because it'll make us work hard and find ways to take lesser risk

You have a point there though, for most after starting the business, they expect things to go their way but only to be faced with lots of difficulties, they immediately give up or loose hope in the business rather than continue. I want to personally start my own business and am seriously praying i dont give up along the way.
Yes, I have a fear that a new business I start may not run and get a profit. I am always scared that I will have to leave my job to start a business and that business if doesn't get successful then I will have no source of income.
Starting a business is a thing of joy especially when you have enough cash to start the business. When fear step in is when there is scarcity of resources. Though, a business can go wrong thereby giving the owner sleepless nights. But if there is money, the owner can change some things that is hindering the business from progressing
There is always the fear of loosing the battle. Every now and then when one decides to start a business fears of failing or crashing of the business. This is because we're in the trying times whereby the economy is unstable therefore not suitable for business
I agree what do kerp people away is fear of losing in a business when once you lose here it can be devastating. So it makes people think critically
