It may be a lucrative business but you need license to operate . In Nigeria, you need license to operate a guest house. In some part of Nigeria, you need to have a letter of recommendation and verification from police. Probably, due to insecurity in Nigeria, extra measures are put in place to ensure criminals are not using guest house to commit a lot of criminal offense.
