Have you encountered bogus customers online?

I post my laminating and printing services in a Facebook group of our town. I made laminated name tags and notebook label stickers. Luckily most of the customers that ordered from me come to pick up their order and pay me. I just have one customer that did not show up. So she wasted my time, materials and effort.

Another time I posted laminated learning charts and this time the customers are few. I again experience one bogus customer who ordered a laminated name tracing chart. She did not come to pick it up and did not reply to my message. I cannot sell what she ordered because it is personalized and customize item. I wonder why there are some people that likes doing it to your business.

I don't think this has ever happened to me before and I always hear about shoppee very well but we don't have it here

They intentionally do it to make you feel bad. I think mean people like doing it

This is one of the disadvantages of online selling. I was duped a few years ago. I used to sell used iPhones online. Someone messaged me to meet up so she could purchase the iPhone 7 Plus. I went to our meeting place and waited for her for two hours, but she did not show up. She did not respond to my messages either.

Its unfortunate that some customers treat businesses with disrespect like that. It seems like a waste of resources for you and your business. Have you considered implementing a deposit or pre payment system to avoid these types of situations in the future?

I ask advance payment through Gcash mobile payment and she said she doesn't have and said I should not worry because she will really pay. I messaged her and waiter for her but she no longer responds. It is so nasty

There are some customers that they will just want to frustrate you but you just need to be calm because you cannot fight with all of your customers

You will have to persuade such customers because something like that happened almost everywhere.

It is very obvious that some customers are very rude and they can make you feel angry sometimes but you don't have to.

If you come across an extremely bogus customer, you need to take the issue with patience.

Bogus customers remain very stressful, I given advertisement for selling of my small solar panel on Facebook almost 20 customers contacted out these, 2 we're bogus as they set time and place to meet and purchase this but they vanished and not come there.

There are always jobless people around. this comes as challenges of online jobs as you are dealing with unknown people and don't have any idea if they are even serious with their orders.

I have experienced this before in my previous job. This is why it is best to make sure they pay you half or if possible the whole fee before the job is done.

Payment is what is very important and once the payment has been made and I don't think there should be any issues.

in every business you will find this kind of people, not only one or two, but we have to move on, just believe that when you do your job very good and loyal customers will come one by one, and as long as we can make sure our quality are the same, loyal customers will come sooner or later
