Have you ever been a refugee?

I think that the act of fleeing from one's country because of the wars, pandemics, among other reasons to be so humiliating for that matter. Have you experienced such a scenario?

I have never been a refugee and I don’t ever pray to be one. It is a very bad experience when you’re forced to leave your house due to war and violence

During communist insurgency a lot of people from my home country went o other countries as refugee but I never though about leaving the country.
