Have you ever been fired by a company?

In my case, it was not literally fired but almost like that. In 2010, I was with the company that was good. But felt like I don't like my schedule. Knowing so little in the place, I felt like I was a stranger. I started to be tardy, my work starts at 12 am . My manager failed me on my 5th month evaluation. So I was not endorsed to continue to work. That was self degrading. But it was my fault.
Learned my lesson, looked for another company, actually two more companies before I was able to finally say I have made a good decision to stay. I am employed in my current work and in the company for 7 years going 8 years this March 2023.

I have never been fired by any company I work for. Before it would get to the point of them firing me, I resign. That is called being sensitive.
How do you since that they are going to fire you? And how come you know when to resign? Maybe you did something wrong and anticipated to be fired? I am not judging here, I am only asking.
As a very observant person, you study and infer from people's body language. My first boss started being excessively ruse and impatient with me, I knew my end was too near. I dropped my resignation. The second was always complaining about my output. They interviewed someone to replace me only for me to resign that same day.
I have never experience it because I have never worked for anybody. Since my teenage years, I love to been self employment .
Personally i have never been fired before but i have seen others who have been through this, and judging from how they react, it is indeed very painful. Imagine loosing your job without having any plan at all as a second option.
No I don't even wait for that though it has never gotten to this. I leave the job without any waste of time
Not necessary sometimes they are fired to save the cost to the company when company goes in loss.
But the term is retrenched hehehe. It is so painful to hear the word fired. The pleasant to the hearing word is retrenched or company separation recipient.
