Have you ever invested in bonds and what is your experience

I am just hearing most folks are investing in bonds. However most of them succeed and others end up quitting with losses. What do you think?

I have not invested in bonds. But bond is a very stable investment except when you invested in scam companies. Investing in government bond is very stable and hardly fails.

Several years ago I had a corporate bond, I received interest (coupon) regularly every 3 months, the interest rate was slightly higher than the central bank's interest. Bonds are safer than stocks, because if the company goes bankrupt the debt (bonds) will be prioritized to be paid first (legally).

It is very important to also consider Bond to be a very stable form of investment because it is a type of investment that is going to give you interest on the amount that you have invested in a particular company and it is much more stable.

I have invested in bonds. In our country the standard rate of return on bonds is 10 percent, however, you can get upto 12 percent return on your certificate of deposit, Therefore, my preference is certificate of deposit.
