Google Admob is just like Google AdSense. They do the same thing but there is one difference. The only difference is that Google AdSense advertisement comes in video while Google Admob advertisement comes in text. It's just the link address.

This is not the main difference between the two. Thy are both owned by Google but AdSense is for website version while admob is for app version. And they both have text and video ad.
I have once have an admob account because it is easy to get one as there is no requirement for that as there is for AdSense. But what they are against is fraud clicks.
Google admin is for mobile apps while Google adsense is for blogs. Many app owners s are cashing out with Google admob. Presently, it is easy to make money with Google admob because apps are still growing unlike blogs that are already saturated.
I have never used admob personally, however, I have worked for a client who had Android app published and I helped him to get admob approval as well as market the app for better admob revenue. You might earn better form admob compared to adsense.
