I have made money from ebooks in multiple ways.
I have made money from ebooks by publishing on KDP and earning royalties. These days sales have dropped, however, there was a time when I was earning $5 in revenue every day.
I have also made money from ebooks by writing ebooks for clients. I have made as much as $300 from a single ebook contract

I don't have any experience of that but yes I have seen the trend where large percentage of readers are interested in ebooks so it's a good option to earn
