Blogger allows you to use a custom domain with your blogspot blog. By doing this you will have your own domain instead of blogspot subdomain. THis feature comes for free and really easy to use. I have created test sites by using custom domains with blogspot. Since my hosting packages allow for unlimited domain hosting, I no longer use blogger. Have you used a custom domain with blogger?

I have a few blogs that I created using Blogger but I have not as of yet used a custom domain for my blogs.
At the moment I am only testing things out with blogger but if I were to ever use blogger a little more for a blog that I would be sticking to, I would definitely look into getting a custom domain name for it.

Yes, I used a custom domain in Blogger. My blog was among the top 20 blogs in my country. However, later I started a hosting company, and my blog's popularity began to decline day by day, to the point where it's now almost closed. Back in 2010, Chitthajagat was very popular among Indians, but it was eventually closed.

Did you mean that you have a closed domain name of 13 years old started in 2010 it is something good to keep an old domain name and renew it except there is a decrease in the fact of popularity.
I haven't personally used a custom domain with Blogger, I have heard positive feedback from others who have. It seems like a good feature that allows bloggers to have their own unique domain instead of using the default blogspot subdomain. The fact that it is free and easy to use is definitely a plus.
Blogger is for beginners because there are basic features for blogging, some people switch to WordPress or even Drupal or Joomla which are pro solutions for blogging. There is even OverBlog that features are awesome or create one with Canva for example.
