Having a million USD to Invest

If you had $1,000,000 to invest, how would you invest it?

If I had a million, I would love to invest in some stocks that are known to always produce good earnings, and to invest in some gold and platinum for when I need to sell something for cash in the future.

If I had a million USD to invest, I would invest in farmland and start farming. Farming is a recession proof business as the demand for food is always gowing up

If I have a million USD, I would buy stocks which have high earning records. I would also buy some physical gold and silver. Other than that, I would invest some money in a hi tech start-up with good potential to grow.
