Having both a store and a warehouse for one business

I think it is money wasting to have a store and a warehouse too for a business.Thosr that have a store for their products don't necessarily need a warehouse. What do you think so that money can be saved with it

It depends on the scale of the business and location. Sometimes, the location where you can sell the most goods doesn't have a large space to store the goods.

I think it is important to have a storage. If the business if big or just like what Golden said, the scale, location matter.

Or can be a small stock room if the business is still small or just starting up. If they need to pay additional rent for the warehouse it's not something I would consider.

No. You can have a store and a warehouse. A store can contains as much as a warehouse can contain. If you a wholesaler, you will need both the store and the warehouse.

It is a very good thing. Instead of going to the market almost everyday to buy the goods, you can buy many and just put it in the store

Firstly, having your store allows you to show off your products in their best light so customers can really get to know them before buying.

We need to look at ways to increase our earnings and reduce our expenditure so in order to achieve that we need to rent or own less space for our inventory so better to have a single unit

Well, if they're having too much stock but it csn get expired if it is too much

Having too much stock won't be a good, one it will lock a lot of working capital and then you need more space to keep it and it can get spoiled with time too

This is the problem I'm. seeing here too much stock might bring losses via expiration of the products
