I think only the older ones are considering buying herbal here in the Philippines. On the radio stations, you can usually hear a lot of herbal advertisements.

In my province people rarely go to the doctor. If you feel something, they will make tea out of different kinds of leaves. And viola! You will have an herbal medicine out of guava leaves, banaba leaves, oregano and others.

There are some legit herbal pills in my country and they were checked by the local government agency in my country. In China, they have lots of them but no proven effectiveness and not sure if they are being checked as legit.
