It's not actually health wise to run a poultry farm in a resident compound because of the risk and challenges it comes with as a result of the dirt and smells it comes with.
It is possible to run a poultry business in a residential compound but measures need to be taken to manage the odor this can include proper ventilation, regular cleaning and maintenance, and using odor reducing products.
What are the examples of the odour reducing products. From what you said, that means a person needs to be cleaning and packing the litter everyday. That's very labour intensive.
Yes I agree with you about labuor intensive so it is not definitely recommended but as for his question it is possible, some areas/country prohibited to build a poultry business in residential some are not. In terms of odor reducing products, there are a few options available out there like activated charcoal, odor neutralizing sprays and natural odor absorbers like baking soda etc. These products can be used in conjunction with proper ventilation and regular cleaning to keep the odor at bay.
This response is apt. And one other thing, a farmer should try as much as possible to keep the litter dry. It is wet litter that produces that toxic odour.

Poultry farming business in a residential area is not suitable. Because there will be complaints from neighbors about the smell and noise that arises. This business is suitable to be done on large vacant land, far from residential areas.
What we do here, together with my cousin and uncle, we breed chicken in our backyard only. We intended to have it to a certain number only as not to affect much of our neighbors who are concerns with having a backyard poultry in our community.
If there aren't many under 50, maybe it can still be tolerated, you can make a catfish pond nearby, to get rid of the chicken manure to reduce odor. LOL
