The thing we can do to make employees satisfied, is to appreciate every result of their work. If they excel, they deserve a bonus/award. Thus, employees will feel satisfied, and continue to strive to provide the best for the company.

Personally for me the only thing that will always keep me satisfied at my workplace is always getting my salary paid when they are supposed to be paid and not a day after.

Yes that's true, you cannot satisfy anyone when you do not even know what they want or what they are lacking in the first place. Calling for meetings and hearing their opinions and wishes would be a great way to start.
