How can you encourage one that is grieving

What do you think it is the best way to comfort a grieving heart sometimes I don't know what to do when I meet one

Equally, I use to be dumbfounded. Sometimes, I will be staring at the person without single word coming from my mouth. Death is a terrible thing and no word is enough to console the grieved. When I lost my friend, i don't know how to express my feeling to his mother. It is very unfortunate.

I suck in those situations. I don't know what to say or to do. I can only give some hug but I always stay rather at some distance. I am introvert and I hold back from all such situations.

I think death is something that is unavoidable and comes just abruptly without any notice. The grieving people should be comforted but l think this depends on the bereaved soul for sure.

I understand, it's definitely not an easy thing to do! For example, it is almost impossible to try to console a person like me, who even now that I know I will have to spend several years of my life in prison!

The best way I always feel there is to console someone that is grieving is just being around to help the person with some things. It goes a long way to provide sucour and relief to them.
