I learned about the basics of SEO on YouTube but I want to start a course about it very soon because I want to start freelancing as a SEO specialist.

SEO is best learnt by practicing. I think you would learn more by actually having your own website and learning from your mistakes instead of learning through courses. Sometimes, not all knowledge is passed onto you this way.

I cannot quite say that I have an online presence as I do not consider having social media accounts as having an online presence.
I however gained some SEO skills while working for a company that was developing a website for the International Finance Corporation. Given that my tasks comprised populating the website for the website, I gained a bit of SEO knowledge including searching for keywords and correctly positioning the same in paragraphs.
