I also noticed it, many interact with a post that is not well-written, and full of grammar errors but, many like the post. Perhaps they are thrilled to interact with a post full of humor. That is my observation on a site that I am also with.
Most sites tend to do this just to encourage amateur writers. Most of these writers have good potential but might not be bold enough to express themselves. So they do this to encourage them, with time there would definitely be improvement.
