In western nations, employees address their superiors by their first names. What do you refer to your supervisor as in your country? If you addressed your boss by their first name, how would they respond?

This is also the same sags the employees here address their superiors. The only respect there is that they usually add Mister or Mrs.

This is not our culture in Nigeria. You use Sir or Madame as the case maybe and that's it.

I think that a person would simply address their senior by the title "Sir". They would not call a person a manger. However, customers in here generally do call manager by simply as "manager".

In my country we can refer to them as sir or madam alternatively we can use the mister and madam when referring to the males and females bosses respectively.

I think that different companies might have different terms when it comes to referring to employees. Some companies call their employees using a specific term.

If you must address a superior, if it's e male you can use SIR if it's a female you use MA, because if you address them by their first name, they could mistake you as being rude.

Over here in my country we strongly believe in ethics. For most of us our boss is usually someone who is older than in terms of age, so we have to give them that respect. Calling them by their first name is the complete opposite of disrespect.

Most my coworkers call my boss by first name but not me. I called her one time when I was drunk but never again. Even she is much older than me, around 8 years, but I still can't call her by first name.

So you just have to respect your boss no matter what condition. That is very good.
