I will talk to the person. I will start by telling him about my day at work. About the number of tickets/assigned tasks that I have accomplished today. And then I will ask how was his day.

Very nice. You are straight forward with that action. I am the type of person who ask the person first and give lesson first as his chance. If no improvement, I will report him.

That's true. It is good to have a conversation with the person first and if he or she remains adamant, we should report him

I think if you have tried all your possible best to try change them by discussing with them but there is still no positive change, the best thing You should do is to report such persons to your superiors.

The lazy people need to be exposed to the management no eed to cover up a lazy person or else you would be doing all the work you would be working alone.

That is a good approach. We can able to use the reverse psychology to our co-worker. I can still remember working in one of the local government agencies in my city. Some of them do their jobs so slow like a snail.

I so much dislike it when someone is being slow especially at work. It is seriously annoying.

Every member in a team has his/her assigned work to do. I will ask the "lazy" person how s(he) is progressing regarding his/her work. I think this will embarrass him/her if s(he) has achieved nothing. If there is no improvement in his/her attitude, I'll report the problem to the team leader.
