How do you manage pressure from family members to marry?

I come from a society where family members have a enormous influence on a person's life. It is so much that your family members would be putting pressure on you at a certain age to get married. I am practically avoiding my mom because I can't stand her sermons on me getting married.

Have you ever been put under pressure to marry? If you have, how do you handle such pressure?

Our society is more open now. There are many people who remain single. Pressure to get married from family is not too high. It's all a matter of personal choice.

I experience this pressure on a large scale and I have decided to just shut it out. I don't know if they expect me to just get up and force a man and marry.

The lucky thing is, we are not pressured to be married so soon. My parents are open-minded if we want to get married or not.
