How effective was 2022 on your career?

2022 wasn't the greatest year for me if I am honest as I struggled to become financially stable and it wasn't until last 2022 that I decided to take a different approach to my career after now sticking with that for 4 months now I am seeing a difference in my career and where it is heading. I am hoping that 2023 will see my career take a turn and that I will be able to say that I am financially stable or close to it by the end of 2023. I have learned so much in the last 4 months and I know there is still so much more to learn.

2021 and 2022 is one of the worst nightmare I have ever experienced in life. Things are rough for me financially and at the same time I lost my dad. It is unbearable.

As a freelancer working on translation, I was doing okay in 2022. I didn't lose a lot of translation jobs due to Covid. I lost some clients in the travel/tourism sector. But I got some new clients from Canada and Australia.

2023 isn't that great already by my observations. I just hope that what's been happening since this year started won't go on for too long. Big companies like Google and the rest are sacking their staff.
