How Is an Investment Different From a Bet or Gamble?

Investment is different from gambling or a bet because investment Is about putting in money or funds to work for you which includes growing a business or generating revenue from different endeavours.
A good Investments though might be risky sometimes have a positive returns. But gamble or a bet are both based on chance and not investing to generate revenue .

In investing there is a sure profit. It may not big but gradually it will yield more than what you expect. Whereas, gambling or betting gives us 50 /50 chance of winning. In case by chance you'll win, it may not be repeated in the next games.

Yeah I agreed with you. you can't only win a gamble by chance or luck and it can be used as a passive income like investment because it is a temporary thing.

That's right better invest than gamble. Others feel excited to gamble in the casino or bet a lotto. It's so risky. Only a very few can get a chance to win.

You have hit the nail on the head. if you have the money for investment it I'd better to go ahead with it as it has a lesser risk than gambling with the money.

Investment and gambling are very much different, investing we only put the money we have in investment instruments both shares, bonds, crypto, property etc. And we can attract or sell our investment whenever we want. While gambling is only betting, if we lose money we are lost,

I prefer to invest big or small than gamble my money in the wrong direction It will be the site that benefits our money the same way as a betting site. We better be wise and smart in our decisions.

Sure, it is a lot better to invest your money than going the route of gambling you would be taking higher risk if you decide to gamble your money away in the process.

When you go into an investment, there is an assurance that you would get your money back and some interest within a given period of time. While betting on the other hand is simply by luck.

Of course very different. Our investment still has a stake in trying to make a profit. But gambling solely relies on luck. Often investments will pay off, while most of the gambling content is defeat. We often hear the term successful investor, but rarely hear the term successful gambler. LOL

I do not consider gambling as an investment. Gambling is mainly based on luck. For investment, you have to do your homework, deicide on the types of investment which work best for you. You make money work for you.
