How Many Days Should a Business Operate?

all that is why I stated that some business I just essential and therefore do not need to be closed we meaning everyday off a man's life does business should be open as the people will be in need of them at every single moment.

But I love any kind of business that will not require us to go to work everyday because the body needs to rest so I should be able to take my weekend as my off days

And that is why there is a term called shifts in business. the only reason we are not familiar with the word shift in companies and organisations in Nigeria is because the country and our leaders are not organised if not many businesses many companies and firms should be having a lot of stuff that will be running shifts so that there will be enough rest for everybody.

For example, I have a friend who works in a factory and all he does is a shift work. It will not make sense fir a factory worker to work from morning till night.

If you have online store you should be online all time, 24/7. People buy in anytime. You delivery package and delivery service should work every day but don't have to be 24/7.

Even if you are not online all the time, you should make sure that you are online most of the time. You may receive an order that the owner may want to get the goods immediately. It may be urgent

If you have any webshop you should have all time available agent. Or at least 16 hours agent and 8 hours bot who will respond and tell customer how answer will come in next 12 hours.

Well, thst is a good one too but there are times when the person does not plan what he wants to buy so he makes an urgent sales and that is why the business owner should always try to be online.

honestly it will not be all right and it will not make sense for a factory worker to work from morning till night even though some factory still do it and it is Nigerian managers that make them to go that way when you example in foreign company comes into the country and he will want to make it like the way it is done in his country but a Nigerian manager will tell him I know my people they will do it we fix it from money tonight and they will still do it.

For me I think this one can be a personal question. For me my business operates on six days a week. This is because I am a Christian and my business must remain closed on Sundays.

That is because you are in a country like ours. In Dubai, they don't go to work on Fridays but they work on Sundays. It depends on country and the kind of business.

Factory workers are using all the energy that the have to work. It is a physical work and it is not easy so it will not make sense for them to be working everyday. They will be tired

That depends on the type of business. Retails shops and restaurants open 7 days a week.

True, like where i usually use to work the only day we had for breaks is on sundays and there are some Sundays where we have go the office to sort out some jobs as well.

I think for me 6 days a week is much better in order for the business to grow and earn more, we need more time to customers because customers don't rest.
