When it's your business I don't understand why you have to pay yourself because everything that have to do with the business is controlled by you including the payment of those that are working under you.

Any profits I make myself I take away and either use to live or if I have enough left I am able to invest back into my business to help me push my business out further. It really depends on what I can keep and put back into my business and what I have to take if it is needed.
