How much do you normally invest

I came across an investor some time back always put in everything he has on any investment he comes across, and according to him, he said the higher the risk, the bigger the wins. Personally i do not think i would be willing to invest all i have on a single investment, if things go wrong, i need something i can fall back to.

It is better to invest a portion of your income not all of it, beside that you should diversify your investments to lower the risks, I personally invest 1/3 of my income.

I save a portion of my income in my fixed deposit account. I just invest about 25% of my income. My investment appetite is quite conservative. I just invest in blue chip stocks, mutual funds and bonds.

I have not decided to invest for now but if I want to, I will invest the one that I can afford to lose incase it goes wrong. We can't be too sure with investment

The amount to invest will depend on your financial capacity.

it is also good to invest the least amount an investment scheme needs for a start. You would have it better when you have made profit from the initial investment then you can invest more.
