In Nigeria, normal daily pay is around $10. Depending on what you need to be fixed, if it is minor repair, you can negotiate the price with the carpenter

I think it is $10 for a day (8 hours). But recently I have not checked it. I have a known carpenter who comes to our home for small wood works if we have any and takes whatever we give.

This is the same as my place too and it also depends on whatever design you want to make because they cannot collect a particular price for two different designs

Over here in my country it depends on the kind of job you are hiring them to do that is going to determine the amount they are going to charge you for working on daily basis. But it's usually within $20 to $25.
