How to be skillful potter

A potter is a professional who creates and sells pottery, such as pots, cups, vases and bowls. what do you think as a skills that one should employ to be a successful Potter?

yeah been a porter isn't an easy job it takes one that is skillful, creative innovative to be an outstanding one.

Someone gifted me pottery work, it is so nice. I still have it now .I keep it as a souvenir from a fried. She colored the pot gold and splash it with silver dust. It is so creative work.

I can just imagine the beauty of this pot cuz of the colour blends . A good potter need to be creative.
