As a novice investor, it will certainly be difficult to choose potential stocks so that they can generate capital gains. So what's your advice for choosing stocks?

I think investors should try to hire or work with stock brokers. They will be able to choose the stocks and manage same for you. This should be the best bet.

I don't invest in shares but what I feel is the past trend of a share is what is helpful in buying a share or you can take a help of a broker. Don't spend too much money on a particular share and buy shares for long run not for short period of time.

stock investment is not so difficult. All you need to do is to know how to analyse the shares that is issued by the companies and understand the financial stability of the company.

I have invested in stocks for many years. Other than doing my own research on companies I invested in, I also read articles written by financial experts on their views of the stock market; and their recommendations on which stocks to buy.

I am not in that field but I think the investor should make the proper research before investing in a stock.
