Yes, it is a good idea to get into a partnership so as to earn passive income.

I am not sure what kind of partnership the OP is talking about on this thread. However, I am Amazon partner and use multiple Amazon services to make money. I am also Google's publishing partner and make money through Adsense.

I think that it all depends. There are many different kinds of partners. Some partners are actually working partners. They have to work because they have skills. However, they never invest any kind of money. They invest skills and time.

Well, I think that finding a partner might be a really hard thing to do because it is quite hard to trust people when it comes to money. This is something that you must know in the first place.
As stated above by a poster, a partner does not need to be an individual. If an entrepreneur invests the necessary resources, he/she will be able to find a legitimate and trusted corporate partner. The individual would then work toward benefitting financially from the partnership he/she establishes.

I know that. The fact remains that there are many different kinds of partners in any kind of business. For example, there are many individuals who tend to be working partners. They have no active investments in the business as they use skills to grow business.
Yes, these days scammers now pretend to be well known brands, i came across a post yesterday about jumia hiring new workers to work online and you would be paid 70k in naira for just an hour. It turned out to be a huge scam, but there are people who would fall for it cause they saw the name jumia. Which is why it i best to go see them face to face before making a decision.

The main problem with finding an online partner is the fact that you may not want to conduct business with people who you do not know and do not know personally. This is quite important thing to consider.
I think it is a good idea. You could become an online partner and start a blog like you said and you might not have to do a lot of work, but you still get to earn from it. You might just be the one bringing funds or bringing traffic to the blog.
Most of the companies you can invest in as partners to earn passive income are usually networking companies, i have seen some persons who have become partners in companies like neolife, aloe vera living products and so on.
