Maybe a financial punishment is better than any other punishment. People are scared to lose their money in fines. I suggested it to my boss but he didn't approve it. Maybe because he thinks that will cause some agitation in the mind of the workers.

Every office has a bundy clock so those on time won't have a salary deduction from the HR office and those always reporting late suffer deduction. Punctuality is a good virtue.

It is in the company where the employees dont stay back. Here in my office, we are asked to stay back and we are not paid for it. Here there is a relaxation for the staff, we are not penalised for being late for the office.

That's another story and an issue no one can fight back. Just say yes and agree.

That's true one cannot fight with the boss otherwise he will start finding faults in everything you do and my boss is like this. He is always keen to find out the faults and never appreciates anyone's work.

Even my program head if one doesn't attend a gathering she dislikes the employee never talks to the person and her mood remains constant to everyone. She's inconsiderate and with a favoritism. Is there favoritism in your work force?

Yes, there is. My boss has some favourites here and he doesn't say anything to them, even when they are wrong. He is biased in his behaviour and decision most of the time. I dont like bosses like him.

@Sanjee , I think this kind of problem showing favoritism is universal. It pains and discourages others who are hardworking, honest, loyal, and trustworthy, yet not appealing to the eyes and knowledge of the bosses.

That's true. People get motivated by such actions of the management. We also have a suggestion for awards here. The employees who give quality suggestions regarding work and a good number of suggestions are rewarded with money.
