It is not easy to identify fraudulent HYIP sites. But there are certain silent pointers that am always looking for to identify fraudulent and scam investment sites
1. Unrealistic interest
If a HYIP site claim to give you 100% interest in one week or so. It is certain it will be scam. The question you need to ask yourself: what type of business will he do that will generate such amount of money in a short interval?
2. Minimum investment above $100
If the company demands more than 100 USD as minimum investment threshold, you better reconsider your stand.
3. Bogus referral programs
If their referral programs is so bogus, they are likely to be scammers

What other pointers you use to identify fraudulent HYIP?

Well said! I actually did not know what HYIP stand for so I had to search for the meaning of it. I think that if there is a website for the particular investment site, we should research on it, by checking information about the domain creation date, information of the domain creator, as well as the company behind the whole investment program. Some signs that could tell you that an investment site is a scam is that the domain of the website has been newly created. Unknown founder behind the domain. Usually reputable investment sites would have founders that are known and have their identity known.

Otherwise, you can check whether the website has been verified by financial institutions.

All hyip are all scams in their operation. They promised to pay what you cannot get from traditional financial institutions. They use this to bait unsuspecting customers.

You're right
But at the same time, some of them may look very real that you won't know the real or fake

The most prominent one to look for is unrealistic profits in short periods of time. I usually ask myself, if they can really make such huge profits in a short time, why would they need my money at all?

It's also important to calculate the returns promised. No legit business will promise you more than 20 to 25% returns on investment within a year.

One of the best ways i use in fishing them out is usually their offers. These sites or platforms tend to give out juicy offers that is very hard to believe within a very short period of time.
